Stage 2 – Opening late 2009

Construction of the $50 million Stage Two Town Centre development is well underway and scheduled to open this November. This new precinct will feature over 40 specialty retail stores, a new concept Harris Scarfe department store and a Food Court with over 400 seats. The Stage Two development will also include more on-street retail, alfresco dining options, an additional 250 car spaces and a purpose built Town Square offering an abundance of safe & accessible outdoor space for the growing local community.

Also opening 2009 – Point Cook Community Learning Centre

Further to this the new Point Cook Community Learning Centre will open later this year including a 950 sq/m Library, Civic/Community Learning Rooms; Occasional Care Facilities, Toy Library, Community Kitchen, Kindergarten rooms and, Maternal and Child Health Consulting Rooms. This $6.6m project is being developed jointly with Walker Corporation, who manage the design and construction of this iconic new building.
